Telehealth visits are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant encrypted video portal. You will receive a private link via email and text message—no app installation or software download is required. Under state licensing laws, you must be physically located within Washington State or Arizona at the time of your telehealth appointment. Electronic prescriptions are sent directly to your local pharmacy.
Psychiatry focuses primarily on the biological, neurological, and medical dimensions of mental health—including comprehensive diagnosis, laboratory testing, and prescription medication management. Therapy (psychotherapy) focuses on talk-based processing of emotions, behavioral patterns, and coping tools. At New Dawn, our clinicians integrate supportive psychotherapy into our medication visits and collaborate closely with your existing therapist.
NeuroStar® Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive outpatient therapy. It utilizes precise magnetic pulses to stimulate underactive neurons in the brain circuits responsible for mood regulation. Over 83% of patients experience significant symptom improvement. Sessions take under 20 minutes in our Bellevue clinic, involve zero anesthesia, and patients can immediately drive back to work or home.
QbTest is an FDA-cleared, computerized continuous-performance test combined with infrared motion-capture technology. It provides objective, quantifiable measurements of all three core ADHD traits: hyperactivity, inattention, and impulsivity. Results are benchmarked against thousands of peers of the same age and biological sex, eliminating diagnostic ambiguity and allowing precise medication tracking over time.
Controlled substances (such as stimulant medications for ADHD or benzodiazepines for acute panic) may be prescribed following a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, medical record review, and confirmation that medication is clinically indicated and safe. We strictly follow Washington State and DEA telemedicine regulations, state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) checks, and informed consent standards.
